Benefits: Each full time sworn member will receive full benefits in accordance with the present contract which includes a choice of one of several health plans, a prescription medication plan, dental insurance and group life insurance as part of the Police and Fire Retirement System.
Holiday and Leave: Each new full time sworn member will receive 15 paid sick leave days, 12 paid vacation days and 3 paid personal days.
Training: A condition of employment is the completion of a basic police training program approved by the Police Training Commission.
